Hi there André,
This is just a quick email to tell of our experience when we were involved in a potentially fatal accident in our Lexus RX350 which we purchased through you 5 years ago.
We were traveling on a main rural road when a transit type van failed to stop at a STOP sign. We hit the side of the van head on at around 60kmh. The resulting few seconds were terrifying with the sound of colliding metal and the explosion of airbags.
When the car came to a rest, the self locking doors opened upon pulling of the door handle and my wife, son and I walked from the vehicle.
It was only once the immediate shock wore off were we aware of the amazing safety features that not only saved our lives but prevented almost any injuries. My wife and I suffered minor bruising to our ribs, in my case, and chest in my wife’s. My son in the back seat received a few grazes on his arm.
I have heard stories that deploying airbags can cause injuries such as facial trauma and broken bones. I have also heard that the explosives used to deploy the airbags can cause permanent hearing damage. Neither was the case here. Whether it was the quality of the system used, I don’t know, but non of us suffered any injuries from the deploying safety system.
There is little else to say except that the quality of the Lexus safety system is the reason I am now able to write to you.

I have attached a series of photos which you are also welcome to show any prospective clients. You will notice in two of the pictures that I have photographed both the driver and passenger foot wells. There was absolutely no damage or intrusion in these areas. In the past the crushing of the foot well areas were responsible for major leg trauma.
